Buone notizie per chi ha timore degli spoiler, sempre dietro l’angolo: in un cinguettio, Hideo Kojima ha anticipato di aver appositamente modificato alcuni aspetti del gameplay di Death Stranding che andrà a mostrare durante il Tokyo Game Show 2019, rimuovendo tutti i possibili riferimenti che avrebbero potuto essere considerati spoiler. Si tratta sicuramente di una scelta gradita, considerando che in passato i materiali mostrati per molti dei suoi giochi, come Metal Gear Solid V, avevano anticipato un po’ di elementi poi visti effettivamente in-game.
Kojima ha riferito che domani mostrerà una parte iniziale del gioco per introdurre alle meccaniche e al flusso di gioco della sua prossima opera. Aggiunge, infine, che «ho modificato la mappa e gli oggetti in maniera tale da evitare spoiler».

Inoltre, il game designer ha anche calendarizzato le diverse presentazioni: il 12 settembre vedremo il lungo gameplay che mostra le meccaniche del gioco, il 14 vedremo un ulteriore gameplay da 30 minuti in uno scenario specifico.
