Dopo i rumor dei mesi scorsi, la notizia è stata ufficializzata da PlayStation Store e dal post comparso sul Blog Ufficiale delle piattaforme Sony: Max Payne è in arrivo su PlayStation 4 il prossimo 22 aprile. Il gioco si aggiunge all’elenco di quelli PlayStation 2 giocabili mediante emulazione su PlayStation 4.
