ha annunciato che le vendite di Playstation 4 hanno raggiunto i 18.5 milioni in tutto il mondo.La piattaforma ha piazzato 4.1 milioni di unità solo durante il periodo natalizio 2014 ed il suo successo sembra destinato a non arrestarsi grazie all’arrivo nel corso del 2015 di titoli importanti come Street Fighter V (Capcom), Final Fantasy XV (Square Enix), Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Konami), The Tomorrow Children, The Order: 1886, Bloodborne (SCE Worldwide Studios) e prodotti indie come AsteBreed (Active Gaming Media), Galak-Z (17 Bit) e Mighty No. 9 (Comcept).
