A cosa serve impegnarti a creare un buon prodotto, quando le persone pensano poi di avere il diritto di accedervi gratis? Anche questa domanda rientrerà probabilmente tra gli interrogativi che si sta ponendo Jonathan Blow, autore di The Witness, estremamente rammaricato dalla pirateria che ha colpito la sua opera più recente. Uscito solo tre giorni fa, il gioco è infatti già tra i più scaricati illegalmente, come twittato dallo stesso autore. “Sembra che The Witness sia il gioco #1 su un certo popolare sito di torrent. Purtroppo, questo non ci aiuterà a realizzare un altro gioco!” sono state le sue parole.Lo stesso autore si è detto felice del fatto che, in questo modo, moltissime persone sono riuscite a giocare la sua opera, ma ha comunque precisato che “vorrei avere la possibilità di fare un altro gioco di questo livello… giusto per dirlo.” Infine, Blow ha detto che non aveva voluto l’inserimento di DRM a protezione della sua opera, ma ha affermato che ci penserà, in futuro.Ecco i tweet:
