Dopo le prime voci che vi abbiamo riportato questa mattina, ora è arrivata la conferma ufficiale: Elite Dangerous arriverà anche su PlayStation 4. La notizia è stata diffusa nel pomeriggio della gioranta di oggi direttamente da David Braben, fondatore di Frontier, che ha risposto a una diretta domanda di un utente tramite Twitter. 
Egli ha specificato inoltre come l’esclusiva console per Xbox One sarà solamente temporanea.
