No. 23 of 31 – "Quiet" Shooting out of a helicopter seems to be a pretty tough job, so it's definetely perfect for a cinematic keyframe – especially when there's a giant mech in it :) #METALGEAR31st @VogtRoberts @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN #metalgearsolid5 @stefanieGMJ pic.twitter.com/M47Ja9Ky7T

People asked for a video of how I do my paintings – here it is :) "Quiet" was painted in around 3 hours in total. #METALGEAR31st @VogtRoberts @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @stefanieGMJ #conceptart pic.twitter.com/G4NRZdsgGJ

No. 29 of 31 – "Metal Gear 1944" A bit of time experiment. Solid Snake, equipped with a Luger, observes Nazis on bicycles riding next to a Metal Gear equipped with a FLAK cannon. Now we've seen everything :) @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @VogtRoberts #MetalGearSolid #Metalgear31st pic.twitter.com/w50QcITxEo

No. 28 of 31 – "Crying Wolf". Still wanted to make a realistic image of MGS4. Due to lack of time I used photo bashing on this one. @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @VogtRoberts #metalgear31st #MetalGearSolid @metalgear_en pic.twitter.com/CC40dvxuna

No.27 of 31 "How do I stop it??" We're almost at the end and I thought I still need a classic REX scene. Mostly done in 3D with some overpaint. @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @VogtRoberts #MetalGearSolid #Metalgear31st @metalgear_en @MgsOuterHaven @DavidBHayter pic.twitter.com/Jpt0HgnBm5

Timelapse of the latest artwork, this time I used a lot of 3D elements which I then painted over. @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @VogtRoberts #MetalGearSolid #conceptart #Metalgear31st #MetalGearRex @metalgear_en @DavidBHayter @4pauleiding pic.twitter.com/k002Mu7gnb

No.26 of 31 "Can love bloom on a battlefield?" A scene I had in mind for showing Meryl and Snake in the bathroom scene just before Psycho Mantis. This is all photobashed with a ton of paintover, timelapse tomorrow. @VogtRoberts @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN #metalgear31st #MetalGearSolid pic.twitter.com/rUIk4mc814

Timelapse of latest artwork. This time you can see how I use existing photo sources and assemble it into something new by painting over all elements. That's called Photo bashing and is frequently being used in the concept art industry. #metalgear31st @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN pic.twitter.com/OrpJujK5uW

No. 25 of 31 – "Peace Walker" You know I like robots, so after Zeke I thought it would be cool to portray the boss fight in a more cinematic way. Timelapse will follow soon. #metalgear31st @VogtRoberts @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN #MetalGearSolid pic.twitter.com/sQMMtsZpYv

No. 24 of 31 – "Zeke hangar". No excuses, let's move on with finishing the last keyframes for #METALGEAR31st by @VogtRoberts and @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN . I feel peace walker is almost never talked about, but probably also not that many people played it ? pic.twitter.com/3V3Kwjsmyq

No. 20 of 31 – "Rain". I thought the MGS2 opening was pretty awesome, but the lighting always felt really dull, so I spiced it up for a cinematic keyframe :) #METALGEAR31st @VogtRoberts @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN pic.twitter.com/QVR2cPeRZv

No.16 of 31 – "Parasite Unit". Always love mechs in the background and went for some sinister lighting to make it a cool cinematic shot. All painted. #METALGEAR31st @VogtRoberts and @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN #MetalGearSolid pic.twitter.com/7N6cJD8dBO
— Erasmus Brosdau (@EBrosdau) August 14, 2018
No.14 of 31 – "Volgin". Just some cool shot of him against a sunset. Wanted him to feel a bit more like a big space marine than human. #METALGEAR31st @VogtRoberts and @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN #MetalGearSolid pic.twitter.com/WyMh7YxBs4
