Il “Platinum Prize” è stato guadagnato dei prodotti che hanno venduto oltre un milione di copie, mentre il “Gold Prize” è stato assegnato a quelli che hanno superato le 500.000 unità. Il “Playstation Network Award” è stato conferito ai videogiochi che hanno venduto maggiormente in formato digitale, mentre l'”Asia Special Award” riguarda i tre giochi che hanno contribuito maggiormente all’economia asiatica.
