Durante il Tokyo Game Show, che si sta svolgendo in questi giorni, Capcom ha annunciato il prossimo arrivo su PlayStation Vita di Monster Hunter Frontier G, titolo in arrivo anche per PS3 e Wii U. La versione per PS Vita permetterà il cross-play con PlayStation 3. Capcom ha aggiunto che Monster Hunter Frontier G arriverà sulla console portatile Sony durante il 2014, mentre al momento non è stato annunciato il rilascio in occidente di questa versione.Haruhiro Tsujimoto di Capcom ha inoltre aggiunto che non ci sono piani per portare Monster Hunter 4 su PS Vita.
