Naughty Dog ha annunciato, attraverso i canali social e il suo sito ufficiale, la chiusura dei server di The Last of Us, Uncharted 2 e Uncharted 3 su PlayStation 3.
La chiusura dei server non avrà alcun impatto sulle versioni rimasterizzate dei tre giochi per PlayStation 4, ma riguarderà appunto solo la console old gen.
Lo spegnimento avverrà alle 2:00 del 4 settembre in Italia e sarà preceduto, fin da subito, da un periodo in cui tutti i DLC legati al multiplayer dei titoli in questione saranno gratuiti.
La notizia arriva in un momento in cui Naughty Dog si avvicina sempre di più al lancio di The Last of Us Part II e si concentra, ovviamente guardando alla prossima PS5, sulla generazione corrente.
Tant’è vero che nei giorni scorsi si era parlato di un possibile State of Play dedicato al seguito di TLOU, che non si è verificato, ma anche di un rinvio interno a febbraio 2020.
