Kurzweil alla GDC 2008

Gli organizzatori dell'evento Game Developers Conference 2008 hanno annunciato che Ray Kurzweil introdurrà la manifestazione con una "keynote" intitolata "I prossimi 20 anni di videogiochi" (The Next 20 Years of Gaming).

Kurzweil fa parte del National Inventor's Hall of Fame dal 2002, ed è stato il principale sviluppatore di diverse invenzioni ("the first CCD flat-bed scanner, the first omni-font optical character recognition, the first print-to-speech reading machine for the blind, the first text-to-speech synthesizer, the first music synthesizer capable of recreating the grand piano and other orchestral instruments, and the first commercially marketed large-vocabulary speech recognition").


La GDC 2008 è prevista per il prossimo mese, dal 18 al 22 febbraio, per essere precisi, a San Francisco in California.
